Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co.,Ltd (HQ:Suita, Osaka, President Yasuaki Miyake) has now received the certifications for ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 after being approved for ISO9001:2000 before.
ISO14001:2004 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an environmental management and improvement system and takes into account compliance with the law. The basic idea of the certification is to establish an "environmental management system" and specify its "implementation and operation" and "inspection and correction measures", reexamined by the employees in order to reduce environmental load constantly.
OHSAS18001: 2007, is originally a subordinate system for occupational hygiene and health to the company management system, now became an international certification for improvement of the company's performance by reduction of accidents and compliance with the law and corporate ethics.
Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co.,Ltd. established a management system based on the ISO14001: 2004 and OHSAS18001: 2007 certifications in order to continuously improve efficiency of company activities in accordance with environmental consciousness, to secure occupational safety and health of all employees.
