DIALOGIC PLUS+
For many years, the company has applied its proprietary “Scribe & Break (SnB)” technology—refined through extensive experience in brittle material processing such as glass—to pursue high-productivity and high-precision wafer singulation in the semiconductor field.
With the recent expansion of the compound semiconductor market, including power semiconductors, production sites increasingly require flexible equipment capable of supporting various production scales and applications, ranging from research and development (R&D) to mass production.
“DIALOGIC Plus+” is a completely new-concept wafer singulation system developed to meet these market needs.
The greatest feature of this product is the modularization of each process incorporating our proprietary SnB method, enabling customers to freely combine modules according to their applications and production plans.
What is Scribe and Break?

Originally developed for brittle materials such as glass, SnB (Scribe and Break) has been refined by MDI over the years and is now successfully applied to semiconductors.
Scribe
Refers to the process of forming micro-cracks inside the wafer by rolling the wheel over its surface.
Break
Refers to the process of propagating micro-cracks by pushing from the opposite side.

Key Benefits of SnB

Moduarity Meets Customization
Each module incorporates our proprietary SnB process, allowing flexible customization for specific applications.
In addition, by linking extra modules to existing system as per production plans, a seamless transition from R&D to mass production can be achieved while minimizing extra investment.

Full Auto Process Flow
With cassette loading compatibility, DLP “Full Auto Model” integrates all key SnB steps — film lamination, delamination, expand and remount — into a fully automated solution.

Highlights
- High Productivity – approximately 20% higher throughput than previous models.
- Scalability – add modules for easy expansion.
- Full Automation – integrating all SnB processes to minimize human errors.
