Preamble
The rapid development of information technology, while offering the convenience of instantaneous access to vast amounts of information via networks, has also led to the escalation of security breaches such as unauthorized access to our network, misuse of information, and information leakage, whether intentional or by negligence. These have become significant new threats in our advanced information society. In this environment, Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. continuously strives to be a highly valued entity by providing solutions that meet the needs of the times and our customers. We recognize that customer information, our proprietary technical information, personal information, and other data associated with our business activities are critical information assets. To protect these assets, we will establish, implement, and operate an internal Information Security Management System. We are committed to continuously maintaining and improving this management system to ensure its ongoing effectiveness.
Purpose of Information Security
In conducting its business activities, Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. will properly implement its Information Security Management System, set information security objectives, and formulate and execute plans to achieve these objectives.
Information Security Framework
Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. will establish an Information Security Committee to promote the Information Security Management System. An Information Security Manager will be appointed in each department to ensure the proper management of our information assets.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
All executives and employees of Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. shall comply with the requirements of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, as well as all other laws, regulations, and contractual obligations with customers related to information security.
Education and Training
Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. will provide all executives and employees with the necessary education and training on information security. This will raise their awareness, ensure they understand the importance of information security activities, and ensure they are thoroughly familiar with all relevant regulations.
