Mitsuboshi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. has published a new webpage introducing its high-precision patterning technology for perovskite solar cells, which contributes to the advancement of next-generation energy solutions.
This technology enhances power generation efficiency and reduces manufacturing costs, thereby supporting practical implementation and mass production.

About Perovskite Solar Cells

Perovskite solar cells are an innovative type of photovoltaic technology, known for their light weight, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness.
They are manufactured by coating film-like substrates, which allows for high versatility in installation, including on building windows, walls, and curved surfaces.
They can also generate electricity under low-light conditions, such as cloudy skies or indoor lighting.
Recent studies have reported power conversion efficiencies exceeding 25%, suggesting wide potential for future applications.

Our Processing Technology and Support Framework

Since 2008, we have been providing patterning technologies for monolithic solar cells.
Leveraging this experience, we now offer technical solutions for perovskite solar cells as well.
In particular, we have developed and supplied continuous processing equipment based on Roll-to-Roll (R2R) technology, enabling high-precision processing suitable for large-area and continuous production.
